In 2021, Simon moved to Graz, where his passion for film and the digital art evolved into a professional focus. Alongside his school education, Simon developed a deep interest in documentary filmmaking, particularly local topics and intercultural narratives.

In addition to his graduation, Simon experienced his first internship through his hobby, where he worked at the Social Media Department of the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV). This was followed by an internship with Graz-based filmmaker Martin Reicht (Fruitmedia) and Jakob Slavicek (Lichtwerk Graz), where he had the opportunity to work as a volunteer in the lighting department on larger film sets.

Now, as a student at HTBLVA Ortweinschule, Simon continues to nurture his passion for film with a focus on lighting, aswell as camera, mostly in documentary storytelling.
